Invictus participated at DBACT's regatta 4 on Sat 12/12/20 racing over 2 Km in 20's boats and 200m in 10's boats.

A cracking morning

Just a cracking morning on Lake Burley Griffin. Invictus took a crew out for an 11 km run to the Canoe Club and had another boat of "come and try" folk trying their hand at Dragon Boating our on Lotus Bay.

In challenging conditions, this morning we held a combined session with Komodo Paddle Club and Canberra Griffins Dragon Boat Club to participate in intra-club racing.

Training & Come and try

Another awesome day out on the lake for Invictus, with more new people trying our wonderful sport! We took the 10s boat out for a spin to the racecourse and a 200m dash, while our 20s boat practiced technique. We finished our session with our competitive side being seen in a 200 metre race narrowly won by ????

Inaugural Club Paddle

With COVID restrictions eased, Invictus hit the water on Sunday for our inaugural paddle - 5 paddlers and 1 sweep in each boat to ensure social distancing and off we went.
