Health and Safety
We care about the health and safety of our members/prospective members.
If you are pregnant, have been previously inactive, or suffer from any medical conditions it is recommended that you seek medical advice before commencing vigorous physical activity. You should be aware that dragon boating is a water-based sport and there is a risk of serious injury or death from participating in the sport of dragon boating. If you are willing to accept this then you participate completely at your own risk, and you agree to hold harmless the Association and its registered members from liability. You agree to abide by the rules and regulations set by Dragon Boat ACT (trading as Canberra Dragon Boats Association Inc). We suggest that members/prospective members familiarise themselves with the safety guidelines and rules and regulations of the Association, available on the DBACT website.
