In challenging conditions, this morning we held a combined session with Komodo Paddle Club and Canberra Griffins Dragon Boat Club to participate in inter-club racing. It was great to see a number of our rookies join with seasoned paddlers, and Invictus certainly "brought it" for the first race of the day! After a couple of 'club' races, we all jumped out and swapped boats with paddlers from all three clubs making up combined crews. It was a great way for newer paddlers to meet members from some of the other clubs and for those established paddlers to rekindle old friendships.
